Filtration of hydroxide sludge

Something, you do not see every day! For a waste incineration plant in Upper Bavaria, we developed a filtration concept for flue gas cleaning with over 65 tons.

On an area of over 70m², an about 6m high container castle will soon be built. In it, around 20 - 30 tons of hydroxide sludge will be filtered every day. Our fully automatic AF1200 filter presses are installed in the two upper high-cube containers. The entire filter press technology, such as feed pumps, power and compressed air supply or the exhaust air scrubber, are integrated in the lower containers. The latter sucks and cleans the resulting vapors within the entire system.

The filter cake is collected in a mobile collection container. This container is located below the two filter presses and is automatically moved to ensure even filling.

What is currently still serving as a longer-term interim solution will later be integrated into the new building of the waste incineration plant as soon as it is completed.

Many hours of detailed planning have gone into this very interesting project.
